DO NOT USE MICROSOFT EDGE. NO WORK.
For best results play in Full Screen. Full Screening after hitting Play Game will bug out the Tutorial Text for some reason and will render the sky shader.
Note: There is currently a bug in Godot web builds on Linux where the InputEventMouseMotion event relative motion is giving false values if the screen is not maximized. Please play the game in fullscreen mode in order for the game to function properly. Thank you
Settings can only be accessed at the start of the game. I'm sorry. I'd adjust them on start. All PSX Post Processing effects can be accessed there as well.
ESC exits fullscreen and gives control of the mouse.
You are a Mecha mercenary, armed to the teeth. Get to the mining node and collect valuable resources to get paid. Destroy any hostiles in your path. Once the resources are secured, get to the landing platform and call the shuttle to escape.
Controls:

Mouse - Look
Shift - Dash
E - Interact
F - Melee
Left Click - Left Armament
Right Click - Right Armament
Q - Hold to Lock on. Release to Launch Missiles
G - Hold to place. Release to Launch Orbital Strike

Forgot to add the shaders I used in the disclaimer section in game. So here ya go!

I really like the atmosphere you created. The environment is a lil dark for my liking but it fits the gamestyle and the music is really nice
This is not my kind of game so I died almost instantly when the enemies appeared and don't dare to come back ^^* so no opinion from me on the fight mechanics
Really nice submission
Hey! Thanks so much for taking time to play!
Sorry the combat is a bit difficult. I get if you're not into that kinda thing.
I really appreciate you taking time to play and give feedback. The environment lighting is definitely in my list to update!
Very cool game!
Love the guitar solo on the deployment track.
Combat feels fluid, which is very challenging to do in such short time.
I felt a bit lost, which is understandable. Really cool idea for a full fledged game!
Hey! Thanks so much for playing.
Thanks! Guitar's my main jam so I always like to try and feature it a bit ;) I tried very hard to try and make movement and shooting smooth and solid so happy it's the star in this.
I actually had an idea about putting a beacon in the sky to help the player navigate, but friends told me to remove it since it kinda removed the need for "exploration" I think maybe a ping system or something in the future with more mining points/ POIs could be an idea. But we'll see!
Thanks for the play and feedback!
Cheers!
Nice!
Oh I think expanding on exploration is indeed the way to go if you plan on going forward with the project! I think it's way better than just a fancy light compass. For that to work well you'll definitely need more detailed environments, with good environmental story telling. Ofc these are things we can't really afford to have on game jams.
Great submission! Congratz on the game.
Movement feel and dash feels great and so does shooting. 3d graphics are always a achievment in my opinion.
Nice work !
Hey thanks so much for playing my game!
I really tried to make sure movement and shooting felt good first and foremost.
Cheers!
Wow, very impressed by the stylization! Very consistent feeling atmosphere in combination with 3D models that feel right at place in the world. Great work!
Hey! Thank you so much for playing and the kind words! Cheers
First of all, love the aesthetics of this game! From the texture warping, the low poly models, the sound design. It really gives that retro feel to it.
I also really like the UI, especially the area around the crosshair and the orange rectangle corners. Just looks really nice. Gameplay wise, it almost felt like I was playing something like Armored Core, but in first person. It was fun to dash around, and the animation of the 'Q' gun really stood out to me. It was just unexpected to see it coming out of the corner, but it felt really cool to use because of that.
The enemy designs feel alien and strange, as I'd expect from a game where you're traveling to seemingly another planet on a shuttle. They fit right in.
The music helps to give a sense of unfamiliarity and survival to the situation. Gets me in the atmosphere. I really like the more hardcore rock version that plays when you get in a fight as well. Really ramps up the intensity!
This game just felt badass. I enjoyed it!
Nice game! Gives retro (and Dune vibes from the mining and stuff), and has nice atmosphere and feel. The movement is really nice, however one unfortunate issue for me on laptop with mousepad is that RMB isn't really a thing xD. I can totally understand it being overlooked though, and realistically, a great majority are going to be playing with mouse.
Good stuff!
Yep I did notice that playing on a trackpad it was much more difficult. Probably should have given an alt button to press. Oh well.
Thank you so much more playing and commenting :-D
Yeah. Great fun either way!
At first i got stuck in the lobby not knowing how to start the game. But then i found the deploy panel. Controls are good and art-style looks nice. Well done!
Well at least you had a good look around the hub? Haha! JK. Yeah I think after playing so many hours of testing it just became second nature. Spawn in. Look right. Deploy. Ya know? More playtesting would probably help there.
Thank you for the kind words for the controls and art I was really trying to nail the feel.
Cheers!
Sweet retro aesthetic and mech controls. Got some serious sam vibes from the enemy swarms chasing after me. Got my blood pumping.
Alright I could see Serious Sam for sure. I was def going for retro.
Thank you for the kind words!
Great movement controller on this. It felt very fluid and smooth. Retro aesthetic is always a soft spot for me, and this has it to a tee. Great work here, the game was fun, and I can see it being expanded easily!
Awesome! I was really trying to make a game that felt nice to play I spent a good portion of time making sure that happened! Happy it's shining through. The shaders + low poly modeling really help sell that vibe.
Thank you for the review! Cheers
I'm pretty bad at FPS games, but this was pretty straightforward and easy to follow once I got the hang of it. I love the different ways you can shoot and even drill, it changes up the pace from just spamming one key too often. No technical issues on Chrome either. Great job!
Nice! I have a friend who isn't great at FPS who played it and was having trouble. I ended up just expanding the hitboxes of the enemies just a little bit and it made a huge difference.
The different armaments are a huge portion of the gameplay, especially if you just try to use one, because of cooldowns/overheating of the guns.
Thank you so much for the kind words and playthrough!
Really cool game! Love the retro feel. Things get crazy real quick, was a lot of fun!
Did you use a CRT shader for the overlay?NVM just saw your link!Yep! Thanks for the playthrough. Happy it resonated!
Very cool game! Graphic style is awesome! General gameplay is fun and well put together. Keep developing this thing after the Jam is over!
Thank you so much for playing! I had a good time dev this. Depending on how the feedback goes we just might!
